Comments: I visited the Whistle Stop earlier this year (2017) and thoroughly enjoyed the walk back through history. My favorite part was the Detailed model train set that takes up a whole room. Worth the trip to visit.

Comments: My brother, who visited the museum last year, fell in love with it. So when I went to Monticello, Indiana for a class reunion this past July, he met me there and we went to the restaurant. Unfortunately, we did not have time to tour the museum but I was so impressed with the exterior and interior displays that I plan to visit again soon! So surprising to fine such a treasure in the middle of corn fields! I will tell everyone about this marvelous bit of Americana!

Comments: This is our favorite place to go with my grandson. Went last year and again two weeks ago. The museum is excellent as is the menu and outdoor collection of real train cars including cabooses. Nice gift shop in an old depot where my grandson got his favorite toy. He sadly lost it several days later, but thanks to the owner's daughter was able to get another one delivered to us. She went above and beyond to make a 3 yr. old boy very happy. This is a wonderful destination for any train enthusiast, young or old.

Comments: Great Museum! Even though we arrived 10 min after closing time, Rodney still offered to show us around. So many interesting items to review and even more history to learned. Hope I can be back again soon.

Comments: I stumbled upon this lovely restaurant and museum on a work-related trip. Knowing my son loves trains, we made the 1 1/2 hour drive to see what it had to offer. We were so pleasantly surprised. A gentleman took the time to explain how the museum came to be and pointed out some of the highlights of the incredible collection in the museum. He, along with all the staff, were incredibly friendly. We had such a wonderful time. To place the cherry on the top, it is very clean and you can tell the owners take pride in their business.
